Tim Jackson is married with three young children.
He was educated in Victoria, graduating from Galen College, Wangaratta before embarking on a journalism career that has taken him around the world and across Australia where he has worked in places as diverse as Fleet Street, London to Launceston, Tasmania. He has been a journalist for 24 years, nine as editor of The Murray Pioneer.
He has won awards for writing, design and production and has always played a key role in marketing during his time in the media.
He has an extensive knowledge of how the media works and after 15 years in the region knows the Riverland psyche intimately.
