Jackson Media Services was started four years ago by former journalist and newspaper editor Tim Jackson. Tim has more than 20 years experience in the media industry, having worked for major metropolitan newspapers in South Australia, Tasmania and the UK. He established JMS after being editor of the award winning Murray Pioneer newspaper in South Australia’s Riverland for nine years.

In early 2008 JMS welcomed the arrival of Tess Fisher - a former regional newspaper editor with seven years experience in the media industry. Tess has a journalism degree and is completing a graduate diploma in communications (PR). She was previously editor at the award winning Loxton News and a senior journalist and acting editor at The Bunyip in Gawler.

Tim and Tess have a strong understanding of local issues as well as an extensive network of contacts within local, State and national media.
